The Three Questions
Book #14
The Three Questions
Jon J Muth
There was once a little boy who had three questions he needed answered to ensure he was indeed a good little boy. When is the best time to do things? Who is the most important one? What is the right thing to do? He seeks counsel from the wise old turtle in the mountains but it is the boy, Nikolai, who knew the answers all along. This book is based on a story by Leo Tolstoy. An engaging and beautiful story. It isn't in your face teaching a lesson but rather shows us that if we live in the moment and are kind to others we will be on the right path.
ACTIVITY: Talk to your kids about a time someone helped them and how it made them feel. Self-reflection is so important for little ones as it not only models good/bad choices but also teaches them emotion vocabulary.
