This book is jammed pack with fun! The illustrations are composed of photographs of reliefs shaped and sculpted from polymer clay so it adds very different textures and colors! The words are written to the tune of Over in the Meadow which makes this a great book to read out loud. In the back of the book there is the song and a lot of information about the coral reef and animals that call it home. And that’s not all! The author created Fingerplay Fun especially for this book. Learn the hand and finger movements that go along with the song. Your kids will be giggling in no time. And finally, the part I find very interesting, the artist who created the sculptures walks us through her process. There are even pictures of her working on this book! So cool, right?!
