I have read this book several times and I still can’t quite put my finger on why it feels so special. The story is unusual but The Tear Thief captures my heart immediately. The ethereal illustrations complement the world the author created. You may be asking yourself, “What does The Tear Thief do with all the tear she collects?” Look to the evening sky to find out the heartwarming reason. It’s a delicate and breathtaking story.

After I finished reading it to my daughter before bed she said, “I almost fell asleep, it was so quiet.” It is soothing and calming, perfect bedtime story.
