Postmouse must deliver letters and packages to everyone in his community, including the birds, bears, bunnies, squirrels, turtles, crocodiles and the rest of the gang. Dubuc wrote a follow up story to this one, Mr. Postmouse Takes a Trip. From the beach to the jungle, the desert to the Arctic, we meet more animal friends and discover what they each call home. The second book is just as fun and exciting as the first.

ACTIVITY: What kind of deliveries do animals receive? A package of nuts for the squirrels? What else might they need? What about the skunks or fluffy rabbits? This book is also great for seek and find. A pair of scissors. A tiny ladybug home. A flashlight. This is a book that my kids ask me to read over and over.
