These fairytales teach very different lessons than the classic fairytales. Girl is rescued by handsome man, they marry and live happily ever after. No way, not in this book! Instead, these fairytales feature brave and adventurous girls that often rescue others, set their own rules and redefine what it means to be a princess. My kids love these stories and I know yours will too!

At the beginning of each story we are told what it is based on, many are Grimm stories. When read aloud each story takes about 15 minutes. I would recommend this for all ages and both boys and girls.
